King Arthur - a classic! I love all of the Barnes and Noble collector's editions. They are so beautiful! I'd love it if they came out with new releases of these more often. - Speaking of King Arthur, the 2004 movie version was an obession of mine at one point. I remember coming home from school everyday, playing some RuneScape, and always having King Arthur run in the background. I must have seen it dozens of times by now. The most recent adaptation was OK, but I still prefer the 2004 version much better. - The BBC show Merlin is also fantastic. I was so excited when it started to be released in the US, because at the time I could never get my hands on the newest seaosns. Fingerprints of the Gods is an interesting look at ancient civilization. While not widely accepted, you'll have to admit most of the research done is fascinating. Graham Hancock was introduced to me via the Joe Rogan podcast. I highly recommend checking out those episodes! - Where do you all stand on "pseudo" scholarship? I kind of lump it all together with conspiracy theories. It's fun to think about, but it doesn't really go past that for me. Wool was a fantastic first intro into the solo trilogy. What started as a series of novellas grew into a success story of self-publishing. - Post apocalyptic Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres. The Ministry of Utmost Happiness is quite the tome. I was lucky enough to be able to do a collaboration with @bhagyashree.jain.90 , who had recommended that we read this book. - @bhagyashree.jain.90 was terrific to work with, and you know already know she must have the patience of a saint to put up with me! Between me not being able to make deadlines, and all of my horrible jokes, she somehow made out through alive! This was the first collaboration post that I have done and I had a great time doing it. (Other than feeling guilty that I read super slow! But hey - I guess you can't rush genius right?!) - The Ministry of Utmost Happiness was a very powerful read. Although I had many problems with trying to make sense of the plot, the prose and messages that are inside this book are just beautiful. It is so gritty, so raw, that it really was unlike anything that I have ever read. I thank @bhagyashree.jain.90 for getting me outside of my comfort zone to read a novel like this. - Does anybody care about collaborations? I see some done and I always wanted to join in, I just never reach out to anybody. This joint post was quite awesome for me to be a part of, I just want to know what you all think. Yes another Brandon Sanderson book... Elantris! This one is actually not my favorite of his books, but I did still enjoy it. The graphic audio adaptation that I got in his humble bundle was pretty sweet as well. - The other thing about Elantris that is the best is that it gave my puppy her name!
